Things have been pretty quiet since these have been released, has anybody got any further comments on them after a bit more time on them?

thanks,
Scott.

Had my 8 11 about 3 months now . Picked this board as most of our swell is wind swell so especially this time of the year the swell is up when the weather is worst ,wanted something reasonably stable but still with plenty of speed and able to throw around on the wave . The DC ticks all the boxes there ,easy paddle out , really easy standing out the back waiting for waves , easy paddle on , once on the wave lots of fun . My most fun surf on it has been in 35 knot cross / offshore head high with sleet / snow blowing in my face , man it was cold but great fun .

Found the build quality satisfactory but not great . In saying that I have my gear to use it not to look at it so it cops a flogging .the deck has compression marks where I stand ( my Jimmy Lewis is now 2 years old same use and good as new ) and I clipped a rock on the weekend which pushed the FCS plugs up into the board , similar incidents on my other boards ( PSH and Jimmy Lewis ) in the past have resulted in broken fins with no board damage . The carbon fibre didn't seem to have much effect in protecting the board and supporting the fin .

So yep still happy with the board in giving me a board small enough and shaped so that it's still lots of fun but stable enough to get out when it's rough .

Is it better then the other boards out there ( Jimmy Lewis Kwad / worldwide , starboard airborne , Naish x32 ) , guess that's why we keep buying new boards
