any advice on this board would be great.

curently on a starboard drive 10'5 x 30. 160lts.

Been trying a Quattro glide pro 8'8 x 33 147lts.
Found it a bit tricker to catch waves, not catching as many waves as would of hoped, more unstable front to back. I could not get best out of the board. Flat water paddling was no problem.

Im now thinking of sticking with that longboard style which suits me more and the type of surf I like to go out in.

Read and watched some reviews of the stylmadter and all sound positive.

My concern is stability, will the volume drop be ok 160 to 135lts

The answer is "yes". The Stylemaster is more performance-oriented than the Drive for sure. But it's still pretty stable, and generally feels like the dimensions suggest it will. But the only way to be absolutely certain is to demo.

Even at 6'3 100kg intermediate skills and coming from a 32 wide 9'5 I found the style master super stable yet surprisingly responsive and very light in the nose swing , the rails are thinned down beautifully and has a lovely rocker that will let you take late drops and paddle out equally well ( smooth glide ) I really was impressed with this board felt very light on the rails and super responsive. I really liked it cheers K

I was back on the Drive today in really small surf, I enjoyed just playing around, I think I will stick to a long board. Thats why I got into the suping
thing.

im looking for more performance and looks like the stylemaster could be a good choice.
Unfortunatly not able to demo one.

yes smash is right the runway is twice as fun at half the price

I know which board will hold it's resale value and yes I have owned a board from both these manufacturers but as with all these forums that is just my opinion from my experiences cheers K

Hmmmm, I'd rather lose 50% of the $699 I paid................Gotta say that I have had $5,000++ of value from mine so far. Its simply bloody awesome. Have not touched my big brand, super expensive carbon boards since I have had mine....

Totally agree with Smash had a runway for a few months nice nose rider just an allround fun board I have ridden a style master both very similar boards Iknow which one gives more bang for your buck
