Does anyone know if you can catch runners and do a bit of down-winding on the Fanatic Strike, or is it a purely a flatwater board?

I paddled it in flatwater , very much doubt it going anywhere downwind

Sorry, pretty much a flat water board, however, one of the Italian Fanatic team guys did do a vid catching waves on a Strike.

Demo it and you'll agree. A 24" Falcon is good on the flat and awesome downwind.
