Hey,

does anybody know what shape the 2014 Falcon Carbon 14'x30" is?

The web site says http://www.fanatic-sup.com/content/products/sup/falcon_carbon/index_eng.html
FALCON 14
Lead the pack on any of 3 fresh new stretched outline shapes born of our biggest-ever CAD-formed commitment to victory. Designed specifically for elite level racing the 14?x25? / 14?x027.5 and 14x30 models are the ultimate in cutting-edge race technology.

ie 3 fresh new shapes
but
I have seen other information to suggest that the 30" is last years shape but in the new CARBON SANDWICH / LIGHT FINISH (CS/LF) construction.

Can anyone confirm this from actually seeing a 2014 model? I think the website has not been updated from last year.

The 14x 30 is the exact same shape as last year is what they told us at the dealer meeting.

thanks, Web site is misleading but I guess it just a typo :-).

I like the construction details for the 2014 board which were missing from the 2013 boards.

All good for me as I think I will get a 2014 Falcon in CS/LF.

Yes the 30" model is the 2013 shape. Good news is the 27.25" model this year is very stable.

Haven't really bothered to weigh it. I find most brushed carbon boards weigh within 5% of any other board is similar volume.
In short it's pretty light.

so I guess they are around the 10Kg mark? I have never had a carbon board so have no idea but the HRS ones are 15-17kgs

Most brands don't list their weights but expect a 12'6" to be 8-11kg and a 14' to be 10-12kg depending on the width and volume.
