Hi, Looking for advice.
Either a F One Manawa 9 X 30.5 or Starboard 9 X 33
Never ridden a SUP before.
Looking to ride small surf and just cruise around.
76 Kg with a bit of surf and kite experience.
Regards Jim

I rode an 8'6 manawa. it was REALLY good. im 96kg and 6'3. it was a bit of a battle but surfed great. id say the 9 would be reslly stable but still surf well.

Can't speak about the Manawa but I have owned a Starboard Hero for about a year now and I love it.

I'm 6' and 100 kegs and it paddles and surfs fine, even handling bumpy conditions well due to the width. I was a bit worried about it being so wide at first but the board is just fun with a capital F and is fast, loose and stable while waiting for waves.

As with all boards, try it before you buy it!

Well said, best part about SUP's is that the shops allow demo's. Try it. If it feels good for you, go out and buy it.
The Hero is a great board, mate has had a 9 footer for a year now and is most happy with the stick!
