Should have known it would be trouble.....not on sup much after got the electric skateboard

Heading back to giz after a few months away.....got some new rubber (too old to go sup giz in boardshorts). Naish Nalu 11'4 the board I suspect I will be riding. Do like wearing an impact vest.....that extra bit of float means you can float around quite happily when without it you could be a little worried?

Giz locals say the surf there is extra extra good......maybe it depends on how many boards you have on top of your car?

Looked see at town beach early this morning.....biggish and unruly. Spoke later to the Roberts Road "mellow happy older surfers".....they not keen either. Apparently towballs new nickname is JOB.....has a variety of soft tops like
Jamie O Brien....but this is only hearsay :)

Love both of those paintings. Prints would look good in my study.

Am sure Troy Conole will have website......he has lots of other great surf paintings....last time I in giz he was selling at informal stall next to weekly farmers market....must do the prints too

It was pretty dark when paddled out....but I was the winner (first one out) at town beach. Some exciting waves.....caught about 8 waves before the next person paddled out) Hard to go wrong on the naish nalu 11'4 though

Do like early morning sup stuff.....have shifted to Uawa....not the best surf in the world....but wiil have to get the 11'4 "out there" 5am today
