I've been riding an ECS 8'6" PW2 in brushed carbon for 12 months. It is strong, durable, light weight and surfs exceptionally well in most conditions. It is still in excellent condition after 12 months and plenty of use. It's been good value and I would buy another ECS board.

ECS boards are amazing, top quality and are easy on the pocket. If ever you do have a chance, hop on one and see how well they surf! ECS have a board for everyone and if by chance they don't have what you're looking for customs are also available

I've got a few ECS boards. I have just got the nose rider 10 x 30. It is amazing. I'm also a big fan of my 12'6 x 26. I use this board all the time for my training. It surfs so well. ECS are a great Australian company producing exceptional products. Contact them directly to hook yourself up with a board.

I have ridden the PW2 for a couple of years and love it. A mate also has the shortest Wide Boy (can't remember exact length) and it is a heap of fun as a quad.

Great boards, would buy again - I have no association.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all. This is about the third time on Seabreeze that this sort of accusation has been leveled at ECS. Half (I counted 6) of the 'Silly Christmas Shenanigans' boards in the post on the SUP general page are probably ECS boards and 'Pohaku' who posts on Seabreeze regularly is or was the Newcastle rep. This is the 'Board talk and review section' and although, ECS may not be a sponsor of Seabreeze, I'm pretty sure there is no rule about asking about non sponsored products. I don't see complaints when people ask questions about JP, Fanatic or alternately some other "unknown" SUP brands. It may or may not be a selling ploy, but I checked a couple of those Avatars and they are a couple of years old and have multiple posts from other areas of Seabreeze in their histories, including short boards for sale which were not (ECS). It's a pretty cynical call to make, particularly, I feel at this time of the year. If someone asked about 'Mayhem' boards in the short board section no one would make claims of impropriety, yet they are not sponsors on Seabreeze. I love reading through Seabreeze, but hardly post anymore because of the possessiveness displayed by some. (All present posters on this page excluded ). The Newcastle/ Forster area guys are really cool and have some amazing SUP and surfing destinations. It is from that area Suphead, that ECS comes from. ECS are very established and have a website with plenty of information ecsboards.com.au/ Peace and the best of the season to all the 'real' Breezers and if there are any 'Mug' posters, you're not doing ECS any favours.

I must say I do love the look of the 9'5" Wideboy in blue carbon. If only it were $1200..... Would certainly fill that hole in my life.

G'day all... Just got my 10'6 Evo delivered to my door yesterday arvo. Can not wait to take the board out for a spin.
The quality looks excellent with carbon paddle, leg rope and bag all for $1497 delivered. I called them direct as they were sold out, however I threw down a deposite and got on the next shipment.
I found the crew at ECS a weath of knowledge and they answered all my queries promptly and were super friendly too! I'm a big advocate for quality service and these guys deliver it in spades.

For those with am existing ECS board have you used rail tape, or taped the paddle instead?

samseenee, Your carbon paddle will chip the paint off your new board unless you tape the rail and/or paddle. More likely to happen in the surf than flat water paddling but I would apply tape before your first use. I use RSPro on my boards and paddles. Works well and looks good.
