Has anyone ridden both the 9.5 & 10 ft wideboy? I cant decide between the 2 sizes. I've demoed both, the 10 and loved but i reckon the 9,5 could be alot quicker when i demoed the 9-5 it was wind blown chop and no waves.
For reference i weigh 90-95kg depending on monday vs friday and am 170cm short. I would class myself as an intermediate weekend warrior. I currently run an 11'"2 CMP board which was great to learn on and awesome for flat water & ill definitely keep but looking for something faster down the wave & easier to turn, and lighter to carry. Thanks in Advance.

At that weight as a wave board surely the 8'10" would be a better option...

I've got a 8'10" and at nearly 110kg it floats me no problems.

hey mate, ultimately what volume do you want to get down to?you may also consider the 8'8 turbo or 8'10 slab both by ECS aswell.

Yes- a carbon wideboy. Only surfed it 2 times so far... so far so good, still getting used to it. Quality is as good as the big names for sure.

The biggest thing i've noticed so far is just how fast it is.

8'10" x 31" x 135L

Speed is glory. I went with 9'5" hoping for waves on weekend.
