If and when they do snap is it possible to repair them?Colas mentioned he saw one fold in a couple of places and it was subsequently repaired.I realise it probably depends on construction .Just curious as a Laird and Naish owner.

All surfboards and SUP snap.

Be at the wrong place and the wrong time, and everything will snap.

Of course, some boards are stronger than others, and will snap less. But no fiberglass match the power of a the wave.

The boards that do no snap are the ones their riders don't put in harm's way.

If you are not breaking boards , paddles or body parts you are trying hard enough.

I put my allwave back together myself with zero experience.
Wrapped a piece of carbon fibre around it that cost me about $60.
Used a bit of epoxy resin left over from my wooden board project, a tin of car touch up paint, and left over scraps of deck grip.
Close up, it looks a bit ordinary, but so far working as good as new.
I've windsurfed it twice now and surfed it twice (small waves only though so far)
Next good swell we get I'll give it a go - what have I got to lose!
You can see pics at the end of the "my hollow wood sup build" post.
