Hay all you deep fans, anyone had any paint flaking off. Rail taped it but any light touch removes a 5mm-10mm flake. Bought the board brand new. Its just the top red coat. Looks like its not been treated properly between layers.
Had Starboard, deep Jc boards with no issues.

I think you should try and get this post removed by the administrator and start off by contacting Deep and getting their thoughts on the problem if you have not already done so.

Yep sent emails and photos to Deep Australia. No reply. Photos and emails to Waterman the distributer in NZ. Had the board a couple of 2 months when first noticed. Sent photos, emails, even went in to the Waterman store 3 X and every time say they will get back to me. 6 months later thought I would try to see if anyone else has had a manufacturing issue?
Surprises me as no problem with my other deep board.

Gday seamonster. I have a 10,6 custom dogman and have to say the construction is rock solid . No problems with paint. Hope you have some luck with your board.

Just annoyed paid 2 grand for a board that paint starts coming off after a couple of surfs, and keeps on coming off. Then no reply from manufacturer or distributer.

Give deep a call directly. I'm sure they would be happy to help. I emailed them about a custom board and took ages to get a reply. I called them and had something drawn up within a few days.

Hi guys just an update, returned board and refunded. Good result and backup on their product. Very happy.

Hey Seamonster, was it the waterman store in nz that refunded it? I had some problems with mine, sent waterman the photos and report from a repairer saying it had faulty glassing but got nothing from them

Yes sorted by Jo at Waterman NZ, have a Jc pro too, no issues at all with that construction. Looking at replacing the dogman with at jc pro longboard.
