Guy,s I have just had my demo paddle on a 14 ft Deep and after about the second dip of the paddle I had the order book out. I am going for a 12.6 but the 14 was a rocket and had the stability of wharf. Cant wait to get my new board through Mags at Cutloose. Do youselves a favour and get a ride on one of these boards.

Have to agree.

I have tried various brands of 14' boards and found the Deep 30" wide version more stable in DW conditions.
I'm fairly new to DW and stability is everything at the moment.
This will be my next board.

Yep, make sure you have your cheque book ready if you plan on trying a DEEP - they are VERY impressive.

Just an update.
DW today in fairly moderate conditions. Rode 4 different brand 14' boards including the Deep 14' x 30".
Runs were few and far between but the Deep picked any on offer up with ease compared to all three other boards.
I am now even more impressed with this particular board.
Even better, wife says ok to purchase

I know you guy's are chasing down 14' deeps, but I had Simon make me a custom 12'6 and I'm loving it. The board just glides well after the last paddle stroke, losing momentum very slowly. This is my third race board (12'6 lahuikai & 14 fanatic) and I can tell you when it comes time to purchase another board I'm nearly 100% certain I'll go for another deep.

Like you I tried the 14ft but then ordered a 12 ft 6in at 30.5ins wide to keep a similar volume. Cant wait. Will post pics when it arrives

I went for a 28' wide beefed up the tail which gave me around about 258 of volume, added the new nose shape simon had shown me and a double concave

Anyone

I know little about the construction but I do know that the rails are made with Inegra, an extra strong cloth. Thats it for me, my limit.

Sorry mm, there are others lurking out there who know more...I hope they reply. Good luck

Looks really great. Need to get more penetration into the "Deep" south in Vicco !

PS - The SUP section of the website could benefit from a few more pics and write ups.

Guy,s. The Deep arrived today so after working feverishly I got the rail tape and blue cammo deck pad on and I was on the water just on dark. Even though the wind came up the board was flawless. Cant wait to gun it on dead flat water. Maybe early in the AM. will post pictures when I work out how to do it.Thanks for all the comments.

I have taken the pics before and after the camo deck went on but I must be some kind of dumb f#@k as I cant seem to get them posted. Can anyone walk me through this? I am off to work in Africa until Easter so you will be getting it wet before I come back. You will love it.
