The 8 footer is 8'x28 1/4 wide 92.5 liters has 4oz inegra cloth with a carbon inlay strand but it's custom so can manipulate to suit the rider .

Also cheers Lacey if I ever cross paths with u in the water you can try my own as where about the same weight

If I was Steve P , I'd be happy if it surfed like it looks , I'm impressed .
What sort of dimensions for a board of 110 ltrs to suit a 90kg surfer in that model , I'm curious .

Really depends what type of waves your surfing and how long or wide you want to go ? I normally sit down with people or discuss over the phone etc to get these answer before I design a board for someone .
But at 90 kg I would go longer than 8 foot as to get the stability and literage would make the design to wide and too fishy and disc kinda design , which I feel don't surf how I design my sups to be surfed
I have done 8'6 x 29 3/8 at 110 liters that guys like a lot or gone slightly longer at 8'8 x28 .5 at 110 ,,,,really comes down to how you wanna surf and what type of waves your surfing and what you have currently been riding and what your used to .
No good if your used to 10 footers to through you onto a shorty straight of the bat

Yeah fair call , l suppose its really a individual thing .
l imagine the idea of a more short board sup is having the right amount of rocker and rails thin enough , which create less drag and more speed .
Anyway , I think need to make a decision to get off production boards and jump into the unknown .
One thing is for sure , that's one grouse looking board Steve P .
That would actually make my missus nervous , she'd be worried she would be moving out to the shed !

Hey guys, I'm the owner of the 8'3. I'm still tuning into it since surf conditions have been very variable around Maroubra. So far it's excellent in sucky beachbreaks. I surfed it at a sucky reef down the coast, headhigh, the board was lightning fast. During those sessions, I was using FCS Tom Carroll Whiteline fins- not enough tip area, so put in a set of PC-5s- spot on so far. The board can turn in very tight arcs with speed, race sections at least as fast as my shortboard. And it's light. I wanted a board that could get more vertical, & be at home in the pocket. So far, so good. I need to lift my game to surf worthily of what this board is capable of!

I' m surprised of your feeling about this fin FCS white line wich are my favourite , IMO this is not the thin tip in question but a too far back front's fin position for a widebase fin as TC are. . Ask DTM about, but i reckon : thin tip fins like TC fit best this surfboard wide tail of these advance shape custom SUP. the reason is the water pressuring on wide base fin instead of on large tip reduces the distance between your back foot pressure and the water. This shorter distance make you apply more strenght on the water reaction Then you normally get more thrust...
Dare you to fix a set of plugs forward the front ones and put the TCwhite line back on it. 20.5" front's fin to tail to be exact ... this is not my board
How dimension is your fin from the tail by now? to Give me a feed back please.

Always cool to mix the fins up a bit I always chuck in my old faithfuls plain old m5 tend to work for me , sometimes through m7 in the sides when it gets bigger or in Bali
