So I'm really confused now, did the right thing demoed some boards but am stuck on 2, last seasons DC Pro 14 x 26 and Fanatic Falcon 14 x 27 as they are both awesome boards.

So I want to hear your wise thoughts, ok and I guess not so wise thoughts on both of these boards, your pros and cons experience on the flats and downwinding.

Yes Lacey I know your probably going to high five your face after telling me your thoughts in the last topic, I just can't decide.

3500 approx (DC) vs 2700 approx (Fanatic). I know the choice I would make

this years nsp dc14 x26 is very nice, so is the new falcon.

as for last years, custom boards they are progressing all the time so there would be variations in the dc's. i guess you have your eye on one.

last years falcon i had a paddle and it was very good too.

adapt i would suggest you have another go on both boards in the ck mouth and surf. you would get a better understanding of both brands last years models.

cheers

I love my 2013 Fanatic I was going to get rid of it and update to the 2014 but I just can't justify it. If you can lay your hands on a decent 2nd hand one then I would grab it.

I had a paddle of a few boards yesterday and was most impressed with the DC 12,6 pro elite , the green one.It felt very comfortable and pretty quick. The starboards also quick but i hate standing in the dugouts , just doesent feal right for me.The new Lahui Kai where also very good , even the 24 wide one of Kellys felt reasonably stable , but didnt really like the recessed deck on those either , you feel like your standing with legs to close togeather.I guess it would be easy to get a custom though with only a very slight recess Keen to try the new Fanatic 14 , had a go on the 12,6 and it felt about the same as most other 12,6 board to me.

So I took the 14 DC (Dales Dr race board) in the Talley creek mouth chop, surprised that I could stand on the board, think it potentially would be awesome in some downwind conditions but as Dale originally made it for himself not sure if my 92kgs will weigh the board down in the ocean. Stability wise after a few runs I'm sure I would get use to it. Seems to sit in the water the same as the 2013 Fanatic Falcon did for me.
