Hi,

I've had the Hokua for a couple of years and am looking to get a second 8'5". I've enjoyed the Naish heaps but am thinking of giving the Nitro a try. I am wondering if anyone has an opinion here? I'm interested in the durability of the Nitro compared to the Hokua too.

Btw, I haven't tried the Nitro, anyone know if there are demos happening...in Victoria?

Thanks in advanced.

This is second hand of course, but a guy I know had the nitro and now has a JP 8'2". He said the JP is more stable and more responsive.
I think SHQ may have a demo, or if your interested Sup Vic will be having there annual w/end getaway in March at Inverloch. Usually demo boards of most makes available.

ride the nitro, in waist to over head waves, here in NZ.

It loves a good fast wave, and if you have the balance for it will reward you with powerful bottom turns and great speed down the line.

If the waves are a bit mushy then its not going to give you what you want, but with a bit more power, it rockets off.

Check out this ugly fella
