Had a paddle on the new Dart this arvo.
Approx 6km from Mooloolaba to Cotton Tree.
Basically we had a tail wind with a swell direction that was pushing about 25 degrees toward the beach away from the Sthly wind.
The board was super stable, and easily paddled onto the runners.
First go it connected easily from runner to runner and I found it effortless to get into surf stance whilst racing onto a runner.
The key strength I noticed was the side swell didn't effect my balance or the boards performance. This I assume is due to the more rounded rails.
Several DW boards I have been on get knocked about by the side swells and can push you off or push the nose around at the end of a runner, requiring good footwork or paddle balance to keep control.
The nose stayed up and didn't get buried whilst on the runners which impressed me.
Caught a couple of waves in and the board surfed well.
Would love to try in bigger swells and stronger winds - I believe it would fly.
I really enjoyed this board.

Had two short goes on the same board today, found it very stable and easy to paddle in choppy conditions. When catching a runner and jumping back towards the tail, the board doesn't wobble or bounce like some do. As the board picks up speed and starts planning, there is a whooshing sound from underneath it. Like Al said, side chop doesn't affect the board or swing it's nose about, catches runners easily and as I saw Bruce do today, surfs and cutbacks really well. Being wider at just under 30", this board would suit anyone of all weight ranges.
The handle does collect a little water as do all boards, all the good points that DJ did in his review are true. Finish is superb and the board bag well made and designed. A great product. Thanks to Bruce for letting me demo it.

here is the footage from an ocean run

this board is amazing to catch waves on - the last wave of this clip was about 2ft - waist high and the board was so smooth and stable -

cant wait to take it out on a massive day and catch some big un broken waves
