Yes, an old Glide 12 or 14 are obvious options. Or even the 17 if you can find one at that price. How about a Starboard Coast Runner? Other options appear if you consider 12-6 boards, such as the Jimmy Lewis Albatross/Mission or even a Starboard Cruiser. The original Fanatic 12-6 might be ok as well - like many boards of that ilk it's not the easiest to get planing but it is nice and stable. More generally, you can downwind just about anything if you have the skills. Although if you are new to downwinding it is probably best to try and stay away from anything that has a flat-water displacement nose. I don't know about in Australia but in the UK most of the cheap secondhand boards are Starboards. The frequency with which Starboard change models, the price-point construction of many of their raceboards, and the love-it-or-loathe-it styling and graphics tends to mean high depreciation. So bargains are possible.
