Just picked up a new 8x29 Vex Profusion from TSBWH summer sale online. I wasn't really in the market but couldn't pass up the deal.

I transport my boards in the back of my wagon so I like to keep them in bags - not for protection just to reduce sand and salt water mess.

The cheapest bag I can find online that will fit is around $170+shipping (almost 1/3 the cost of my new board -which would defeat the purpose of me buying it in the first place).

Excluding the stretchy sock style, does anyone have a cheaper alternative?

Thanks Ron. I've searched eBay high and low to no avail. Most of the stores have bags for SUPs 9ft and up. The rest are made for long surfboards so therefore not wide enough.

I have a ION 8'5 x 32" sup cover for sale on gumtree for $100, pity you're not up in Qld as im sure Aus post would rip you off sending it to Vic.

TSBWH did have some but still $170 odd and more for an all round shape not pointy nose. I could get a custom for the extra cost of shipping.

YT, I did see your bag on gumtree and thought it would be perfect if you were local, but you're right, shipping would kill me.

Thinking I might just have to bight the bullet and get a custom bag made up. I was silly to think I could get any SUP related item for cheap lol.
