Hi guys and girls. Any tips on a tried and tested centre fin for a longboard sup (Sunova style as a matter of fact). I am talking nose riding, traditional surfing. And accessible in Australia would be real nice.. thanks

Captain Fin Chris Christianson Tracker. Goes very well on my 9'6" Style. Great nose riding.

I regularly surf a 10' Sunova Style. I found I was having some problems with the stock single fin releasing while nose riding. Changed it out for the Justin Quintal noseriding fin (see below). Justin is from our area and is a World Longboard Champ. He rips!! His fin works great and overall (not just noseriding) it improved the performance of my Style. You may want to give it a look.

9 inch I think.

Nice drive and holds the tail in well when nose riding.

I'm only 70kg so you could size up or down from that.

I've also got that fin in 8inch which I use for 9'4" prone noserider and a 7' egg prone board.

Here's one that has worked well for me. Its Big - 10.875" with a 9.125" base.

LOL, yeah!

Well, I've got a big board - Jimmy Lewis Black & Blue Noserider 10'1"x31"x4.25," 164 liters
But, I think it is smaller (narrower) than a Sunova Style XL.

I do really like to be able to lay into a bottom turn.

I've used a few fins but I'm currently using a shapers nine inch cutaway fin, it's a good all round fin, has decent size in the tip, but the base is a bit narrower allround, so it provides plenty of hold and also lets you turn fairly well
