Just wondering if anyone has any experience riding these boards.
I am on a Fanatic Allwave 9'6" now but looking to get something a little smaller.
Just for the record the specs on the C4 I was looking at go, 8'8" long, 28.9 wide, 4.00 thick,115 lt Vol and are a quad fin. I presume they are a quality built product and the price at around $1350 sounds pretty good.

I weigh about 80kg, my windsurf board is 118lt and floats me easily, especially with no rig, I actually tried to SUP it, but of coarse did not paddle very well, but I could get up and paddle along, it floated me but was really unstable ., so I am guessing with the correct design the couple of litres less wouldn't mater to much, I guess to ride some sort of SUP with same volume, or the actual C4, stil I would like to hear from anyone surfing it.

That sort of manuevor is pretty much beyond me at this stage but I suspect one could catch knee high to head high waves on it and cruise with a few bottem turns and stuff, yep I'm a bit of a noob

Check the JP Aus 8 8 surf wide body. Super board. Depending on ability the 8 2 is also lots of fun. Demo! Try them before you buy them. Best part of SUP. Check what works for you

Have been checking post of Hobie surf series as well and that looks pretty sweet, about 2kg lighter than C4, and got some carbon mm. Not sure what JP weighs but my local windsurf shop has one I think , same shop that has C4 also has Hobie, choices, look like some test rides coming up

Ive been riding one for about 6 months now, I weigh about 86kg's and it floats me fine. Its a great all-round sup and have surfed it up to 6ft+ with the quad set up. Check out our web site www.pacificstanduppaddle.com.au for the full C4 Waterman range available in Oz. If your keen I might be able to organise a demo over you way.

hi mate ,for a few extra dollars there are better boards on the market ,Iv'e checked the latest installment of c4's ,and i'd give them a miss ,the build quality has dropped off in recent times not sure why ,but I recently checked out the MR model and I found the deck to be really spongey ,crap fins, etc, etc.I mean if thats all you can afford, get it but hmmm maybe hold off save same extra cash, and maybe look at surftech ,jimmy lewis, even star board are value for money and all do boards around those specs
good luck and happy paddling
