Well it shocked me just how much is holding my board back from destruction .
it is just a small piece of steel .
i just came in from surfing put
my boards down to dry off .picked it up to turn it over and hello ..
a two piece leg rope .I guess it is a year old ,but there really isn't much holding the board ..
I guess a 4 inch nail can hold a fair bit of weight ...but I've never had a leggie brake here ... I guess I'm lucky it broke on shore and not out in the water .

A dab of Clag glue should fix it :-)

I don't think I'd trust it .

just got a new creatures 10 foot outer reef from local surf sop.......two year guarantee.....i like that
Also like that my last one failed at your picture point in one foot surf.......and not in a major trauma situation

Humm...I think I need to take it to the shop where I brought it from ...this is a 8 footer outer .
It's a fault for sure ...Ive never had ANY leg rope break in this point before ...
