My Fanatic Innegra paddle broke yesterday, clean brake just above blade, paddle has only been used 5 or 6 times. Was only using it in small surf, remember reading some forums on this a while ago, anyone else encountered this? & what was the feedback from shop.

Mine Cracked the second time I used it. (In the middle)
I took it back, they gave me a refund, and I upgraded to the full carbon version

Have you tried taking it back to the shop you got it from? Always a good start.

If a piece of new kit breaks in the first few times you use it ("normal" use).... a very strong case for a warranty claim due to manufacturing fault...
