The Balin 10mm x 10ft is the winner!!

You need to rely on the heavy duty stuff when you're km offshore, you dont want snappage on the molds, swivel and cords, plus you dont want a loaded missile from the recoil when the board is released from the white wash.

I used to buy the top brand from surf shops and had a couple snap causing board damage when it washed onto cliff face and now i just order them from sqid and havnt had any break and use em in large surf and they are about half the price of the ones from shop.I orderd three about two years ago and still have two brand new spares, think it cost me about $100 for all three delivered.
I took the big name brand back to point of sale explaining it was less than a month old and was told i must of miss used it,what a joke.

Just a thought... maybe the shop stored/handled them improperly (left in the sun/heat outside / in the windows) so you are better off buying a cheapest brand directly from the warehouse rather than a leash that has stayed in the heat in a shop?

8ft x 8mm teahupo , i think creatures makes it. not too much spring
back and not too long to create tombstone effect . - those o & e strongest leggies turn into spaghetti dont waste your money

I reckon different leggies for different conditions, but your right with this one the teahpoooo is good value, length and diameter for most conditions
