No demo opportunities here so took a punt (so cheap lol)
Quite heavy to lift around. Great handhold exactly in the centre. Deck pad a bit of a pain to stand on (am doing the croc thing).
Seems fairly bland on flat water but comes alive & is fun fun fun on lumpier stuff.
But has good glide. Paddled up river with friend on Nalu 11'4.....she doing 3 or 4 paddle strokes to my one.
Tried to paddle along beachfront this morning. Got as far as pipe (3 to 4 foot faces) & felt compelled to catch a few waves on it.
It went really well actually......caught waves way before the breaking point & turned real easy if you planted the foot to the back. The rounded mid hull sections great for stalling & gracefully exiting if things getting a bit dodgy

i thought that one of the features that bic advertise is how light their construction is

285 ltres,,,,,,15.5 kg so no great surprise it feels heavier than my naish GT 9'10 or the nalu 11'4 with I think about 180 litres
Has initial tippiness with secondary stability

Took me a bit over half an hour to paddle from waiakanae to sponge bay in a relaxed fashion today.....ideal conditions in that not much wind but thought that pretty good........now if I can manage to set the cray pot & drop the longline on the way I will be winning
