Looking to start paddle boarding and don't have a lot of extra cash. These seem a reasonable board at the cheap end of the market ( have a 12 months warranty ). At 10'8" x 32.5" x 4.7" it seems an okay size/shape for all the family. Looking at both flat water and surf usage and figure after a while I'll buy a more specific board for myself.

Just interested in anyone's experiences with the board/company. Actually any advice on starting out at all appreciated. have been reading a bit on here but may have missed something.

I bought the Australian Waterman sup 5 months ago and it's a great board it's very stable reasonably quick and it's fairly light to I'm 115 kilos and it holds my weight great board great price.

Absolutely nothing wrong with these boards.

Think you will find they are from Gulliver and the same board, I had a couple of their boards 2 years ago and yes good price and good for a weekend paddle in flat water , but in the surf didn't handle the knocks, as far as the company goes they stood by the product and did the right thing they are good guys, a mate got one around 6 months ago and it looks like the construction has improved as this board is standing up a lot better , my advise though would be one of the name brands ,you will pay more , but having had a few starboards and now naish rekon they are hard to beat , once you get over the price

Apparently GULLIVER has been making leaps and bounds over the last 6 months in regards to technology under the bonnet with their gear. They seem to be holding their own with their new gear and other brand called Byron Lines.

I've been told they worked on their Vanguard series for the last 2.5 years. Been copied/influenced already to some degree too. Guess that's the way of the world.

For the money,you can't go wrong.

Just picked up my first Sup from them on Friday ( Gulliver ) As Towny said, for the coin you can't go wrong.
