Small steps.....but extended handle using lawn mower throttle handle & featuring an off switch right next to the hand grip (feel free to ignore other projects in the background)
Hey Gizzie love the Macgyver work. Can I ask why you chose a petrol unit over a battery outboard that's used in kayaks? BTW is that bus your permanent digs or mobile workshop-very cool
Monday morning might be my "launch into the ocean" day.....According to Windy wind & wave app supposed to be zero wind & zero swell.....did tiny video snippet.....but youtube rendering is terrible terrible terrible? At Tolaga Bay "blue waters"

You gotta have a pretty heavy battery.....we are talking about a stand up paddle board
thought I might have been gifted more "technical advice" from you guys. Here are my observations. Motor quite strong enough to push sup along at medium revs. My big mistakes not having on/off switch & throttle control on deck in front of me.
good point.....can do that but have to have handle extending left or right almost dragging in the ocean . Just a fun hobby project. with lots of flaws ....did a bit of paddling with propeller down,,,,was not nice
