can you recommend one?
If you are in Europe, the new Gong ones are hard to beat. They are grippy, light, and designed so that you clearly feel with your feet where you are. And quite cheap, 29 euros for the full pad. The best pads I have tried.
The drawback is that with their numerous cut outs they take longer to install than plain ones, and especially with boots they are so grippy that you can unglue the small bands sometimes that roll on themselves underfoot. But the cutouts definitely add a lot of grip compared to the older plain ones.
In the US, by their looks, the ones installed on the Infinity boards look similar.
Otherwise, I liked best the FCS dimple 3mm pad. Grippy, non abrasive, waterproof, but thin and dense so you have a very direct feel with the board. But they are not cheap.
