having returned to windsurfing after a break of 15 years I am looking for an SUP for days with no wind or light wind and hope on some advice from the forum. here are the details:

(1) 75kg, 5''12 (182 cm);

(2) Use: flat water, on rare occassions waves (small, baltic sea);

(3) Windsurf option to train tricks in light winds;

(4) Should also be used as a family board (i.e. my wife also likes to use it and I would also like one of my smaller kids to come on board sometimes)

From my internet search the following boards seem to be fitting: nais nalu (not sure about 11.4 or 11.6), fanatic fly or the new freeride boards from Starboard.

Any adive on the board selection is welcome. Also, which paddle (size et alt.) should I get.

Thanks in advance

You have to remember one thing, the SUP boards don't plane at all.

@boardbumps: I would use it primarily as a paddle board, but want to be able to go out with a sail in very light winds to train tricks (helicopter tack...), so planing is not the ultimate need (although it would be nice ;-)

And to avoid any doubts: I will have windsurfing gear in addition for the windy days

The easiest way to describe them is that they glyde like the original windsurfer and depending on length and width they surf a hell of a lot better.
One of my customers has a custom 9'0 that he loves when the wind is light to medium cross-off.
