Looking for adjustable recommendations.

Currently have a Kialoa adjustable paddle that must be 5 years old and getting tired.

Have had Naish and Fanatic paddles in the past but found the adjustment clunky compared to the lever lock on the Kialoa. Also the hybrid plastic blade on the Kialoa has been much more durable than the naish or fanatic.

Really Kialoa would be first choice but I can't find in Australia.

Are there any other recommended adjustable paddles?

Do any other brands have the lever lock system? (Expanding rubber bung that creates a friction fit)

I think SIC paddles use the same great Kialoa system with the locking mechanism in the handle leaving the shaft clear.

Yes, most all other brands use the lever lock system now for adjustables. More a generational difference than a brand thing. Only the cheapest (free with board) use the old pin style. We have a gorgeous and LIGHT Naish with lever lock adjustment.

I use a Naish with lever lock adjustment. Very light, very good. Easy for transport. Never comes undone during use. I have two sizes of head but find the smaller one better as it is less pressure on my shoulder and find I can get up to speed faster anyway. Haven't considered either to be gorgeous but I'm not really an emotional kind of guy. I snapped the internal shaft of the larger one but only after a few years use, but I tend to work my shaft pretty hard so not what I consider a fault.
