sgo..... before you anti up for a custom..... you should really try to demo the stock 9'2 Speeed...... I bet it would suit you.
I am able to go much narrower than my comfort level, on the Speeed.

the stock 9'2" is 30 and a bit wide the same as I'm riding now (8'10") so it would be ok.
I've just got a mental block about going over the 9ft barrier And will add another inch in width as I'm getting lazy!
I'd like Bert to play with the bottom shape too, but not sure if he might think I'm stuffing up one of his proven designs so I still need to see how that goes?

If you are in a part of the world where you can demo one, do it. That way you can see,if its still an issue.
