I wonder why the balde sizes in the 2014 Naish Kaholo Paddle are much smaller than in 2013? is it part of the new trend of smaller blades, do they have a different shape? I am 70 KG and planning to buy one for waves, should i get the 8'? treid the 2013 8'5 and felt toobig for me

I was talking aBout this a bit in another post... "My 2013 naish makani 8" blade says it is 108 sq inches. The 2014 model 8" model says it is 95 sq inches. But when I drew an outline on paper the shape and size was identical...? I don't get this"

Maybe they are measuring them differently now. I know u are asking about the kaholo but in the case of the makani, even though the measurements listed are different, the blade is the same size.

Oh yeah.. for sure get the 8 if the 8.5 felt too big.
