H there has anyone got any feedback on this board and its performance. Wondering what its like compared to the new Naish LE x32 8'3. I have read many glowing feedback about the LE apart from one negative one posted on here a couple of days ago. Very hard in NZ to demo these boards so any information on either Naish would be great. Im advanced skill level , 6ft and 92kgs. Thanks
Answer from JB, sometime ago y ask him the same question, he puts in the forum some videos of x32 and mana 8,5 too:
The Mana is an intermediate board, it has a lower rocker and rounder outline. It is great for less wally waves and riders wanting an easy and predictable ride in all wave conditions.
The Hokua LE x32 8'3" is a shortboard orcker line, very tail driven and very loose. We will not notice the width compared to the Mana, this board is faster looser and more responsive, however a bigginner rider may find it a little ancy or unpredictable due to it's responsiveness.
I've been riding the 8.5 2014 Mana for 5 months and love this board i am 6.0 foot and weigh 86 kgs. also I've ridden the 8.8 hokua LE x 32, found it to be very stiff and no where as good as the Mana imo have not tried the 8.3 yet, but will be this weekend ! cheers !!
Thanks sake as above..be great to hear your feedback on the 8"3 x32 ..your the second person to say the new Nash are stiff..look forward to your feedback Cheers
hy guys have tried the 7.10 and the 8.3 x32 LE over the last few days, very nice indeed !!!! the 7.10 was really quite a lot of fun, super stable and loose as a goose, every thing is off the back , turns with ease. when paddling this board you have to change sides every two strokes, other than that great small board, being 32 wide wouldn't know it !!!! the 8.3 for me is the pick, just the right size for me turns so easy when back footed planted over fins, glides easier and stability even better. love it as a quad setup, which the mana does not have, pity about that. the mana surfs like an easy going casual style, with minimal foot movement. the 8.3 LE you need to step back then it comes alive, turns amazing for a board that is 32 wide. any way hopes this helps a bit, i am selling the mana and buying the 8.3 x32 Le, thats how good it went!!!!!!!! cheers Mark.
