just took the hamster for its first run.very stable at 7 6 x 27 even in ****ty onshore.love the feel of the quad set up its got speed to burn but the rears being so close together you can really push your turns tight in the pocket.should have some video tomorrow.

Hi Rahams, nice board...if you want to push your turns tighter, put larger front fins on. Think this board rather as a twin fin with trailers than a thruster.

rahams.... really sweet surfing on the new boards! Good stuff and a pleasure to see smooth, solid surfing on lackluster but fun waves.

Yup, really solid and fluid surfing.
I may be wrong of course, but apart from the riders skill of course, the far back position of the fins contribute to the smoothness: on these wide tails you need to let the board bank into the turn, and too far forward fins make it difficult.

Wide everywhere, thumb nose, shallow diamond tail... mmm my favorite outline!

this one is 8'0" x 29 1/2 x 4
normal epoxy construction. my 7'10" came out just under 5kg..they are getting glassed at bear surfboards in byron.
