Ok I am continuing my search to replace my 10 6 Nalu GT.
Now considering ECS 10 x 28 or an Atlantis.
Considered others but unable to demo and so far only able to demo ECS who have been very helpful.

I am in the Newcastle area however will be at the Scotts Head event then going to Burleigh Heads for a week.

Any suggestions please for demo opportunity.

A Sunova 10 x 29 is well worth a look, the price to quality is amazing

If you are visiting the Gold Coast, then stop in and see the guys at SurfFx.

I like the Surfx guys. I bought 2 JP boards off them with excellent honest service. Thanks for the reminder.

I surfed the ECS at Merimbula last year, really enjoyed it - was a lot more nimble than my 10'6 Nalu.

Hey Damo

Was that the 28" or 30" wide version?

Contact Deep Oceanboards at Burleigh. Speak to Simon and see if he has a 10ft demo board.

I have had a couple of boards - surfboard and SUP - off TheSurfboardWarehouse and found them very helpful and the boards to go very well. The SUP (a 10' evoke) absolutely surprises me in waves, but, to be honest, I am a surfer with a SUP, not supaholic. It's the only SUP I have ridden, but very happy with the way it goes. While inexperienced with SUPs if I extrapolate the fact their surfboards go really well, then I am sure the SUPs are pretty good too. And the price....brushed carbon $900? Thank you very much.

I had a warranty issue with one of the surfboards - none of my custom shapers offer warranties on boards four times the price - and they were very supportive and replaced the board. Great after sales service if you ask me.

whatever you get, you should consider holding onto the nalu as well, at least for a while. They are so good for tiny day's that other boards struggle on. And when it's lake flat the nalu still gets you in the water for a paddle from a to b.

I like the look of the ECS boards and the Nose rider in particular..

One question though do the boards come with fins in this price or not?

I'm considering getting one myself if the price includes fins...

http://ecsboards.com.au/stand-up-paddle-board-Noserider-ecs-1.html

Bought an ECS Noserider from Nat today. Nat is a very pleasant young lady happy to go out of her way to help.
Yes - board I bought came with 5 fins and a very nice board bag.

This is it. Looks more like a Mal surfboard than a SUP

The 10ft Noserider atm is 28.5in but all seem to be 125l regardless of width. Weight on the stock boards I saw ranged between 8.8 to 9.1kg, mine is 9kg which I confirmed on scales at home.

Nice looking board thanks for photos.

Are they the stock fins that came with the board?

Yes and do not look like the cheapest available.
Stamped made in USA.
Also being a bit of an untrusting person before paying I measured the board and length and width all good.

I second this. I have the 10 foot evoke and it rockets along with a set of futures quad fins. For $750, can't complain.

I've been interested in the nose rider for a while, but when I emailed ECS to see if they had any demo's available in Vic they replied "No we don't". So that was the end of that. Nice looking board though!

interesting price differences between evoke noserider around $750 and ECS noserider around $1750

ECS is in brushed carbon. is that where the extra $1000 is ?
