theres a crazy deal on a malolo like new - I doubt they ever got the hang of it - I was tempted to get a more downwind conventional sup for training when there no swell - but given i am riding a 7'6 smik sup foil - would I get any use out of the malolo in foil mode? Also are they any good as a downwind board without the foil ?- anyone tried ? Other than Kai of course.

I am thinking it might be way easier to ride upwind in a blow.

the answer was yes - as a learning tool it has been invaluable ( I have no previous sup experience) it must be the easiest foil board to get up on .
