Down here it's about three more weeks before we can get back into the water. The only silver lining is that the water may be a tad less cold than the current 10.6C - just like northern WA (not)!

Most of the waves are a long way out on a fringe reef. Bigger swell and you get some in closer.

Long way to drive and all the "name" surf spots are chockers and it gets busy with kites from October on. Farking hot Jan to Feb with cyclones
