It has settled down quite a lot these days for design, in the early days everything was quite new but just on our side as ONE boards we have done countless hours testing to get to where we are on the design side plus having the guy who designs the gear riding and understanding what the board is all about makes a huge difference.
The hours put into the new 5'10 and 6'5 is crazy and match that with what I think Is the best construction on the market from the best factory makes for a light and very strong board.

Not sure how settled it is Marty (Delta Designs) just made Drew this 5 2 wing ding board. EPS 4.5kg works really well.

There seems to be 2 schools of thought the super short bullet shape. Like JLs, WaveChaser and blown up prone boards. And the more rounded traditional shape - One, Smik, Sunova, etc.

And that is exactly the dilemma! Love the short stepped tail design.

From what I gather, pulled in noses are more efficient (push less water when paddling, less swing weight while foiling), but more technical (less stable, and more row effect due to the curvy outline). So you have to find your personal compromise.

7.6kg for the Naish 125

Thanks I just bought a deep 68x 29 110 litre weight 7.1 kg. My Naish 125 is now around 10 kg but still feels okay. Hopefully I can dry it out some more and get it closer to 8 kg. I do like the stability of the wide design when paddling.
