I'm 198 cm (6'5") at 93 kg (dry) riding a 7'7" x 19 x 112L. Static stability is quite challenging in any side chop (I'm used to DW shapes and paddling) but improves dramatically with some forward speed. For my height and offset stance I wouldn't want to go narrower and may prefer 20" width for a little extra room and leverage over the foil. I'd be curious to know what other tall/heavier riders prefer for wave SUP foil.

I'm 80 kg's, been SuPing since the beginning but at 65, skills aren't what they used to be. I've given it a go on my 85 liter Armstrong ML board, but for Sup'n my final thoughts were "I'm making this way too hard". The 85 has been great for winging in light air and parasailing. But. would also like an easier crossover for Sup. Anyone compared the Armstrong 100 ML, KT 104 K2 or new Naish Chimera108?

1.88m x 98kg ex gear.Sunova8.4x20x125l DW style.This board works for DW and supfoil in my conditions.Where I live (Netherlands) we have always short period steep, not clean windwaves. When I,m in Crozon- France I could easily paddle a shorter/ smaller board, but good luck standing on it here at home.

In the past when I was still doing a lot more sup I had a "holiday" board of 8.2x29x110l and a wider tailed home conditions board 8.5x30x125l.
luckily with foilboards i can tune it with just a different frontwing
