I've been testing this one for the last couple of months . This video is my second day riding it . Pretty amazing design concept. By far the lightest efoil on the market with just a 2 bolt connection for the mast & motor . No cable connections and self-contained battery just drops straight in. Very good design innovation to simplify the whole set up to reduce cost to a price point that's really affordable. It's being released now on Kickstarter now for $4,099 US. Check out the Kickstarter link below , definitely worth a look. Disclosure I'm an ambassador

It's a very clever design they have eliminated all the excess wiring & components , all the controls are built into the mast and it plugs straight into the battery . So no cables to connect and no waterproof compartment or lid . The battery just drops straight onto the mast and is secured by 2 clips . The board is really strong blown foam with a super tough skin. That makes it very inexpensive to build and very light. The motor is the fuselage so that's been eliminated as well. Have a look at the Kickstarter link shows you all that. The mast is Ali not carbon but it's still very light.

Thought Fliteboard had the patent on the motor being part of the fuse??

They will retail in Aus somewhere around the $7,000 to $7,500 Aus$ The Kickstarter will be the cheapest option.

Re the fuse both very different , the Waydoo motor & prop guard supports both front and back wings , The Fliteboard has a drop down fuse at the back to support the rear wing.

Now that I look at it further it looks like they have copied most things from Fliteboard. The motor being part of the fuse, the motor controller being part of the mast. Even the hand controller looks the same. I am all up for making things cheaper but not at the expense of coping the competition who probably did a lot of research and development in those areas.

You really need to see these units in the flesh to actually see how different they are. The remote especially is absolutely nothing like the Fliteboard. It's a really broad statement you made saying they copied most things . It's like when Starboard brought out the bulbous nose race board everyone claimed it as theirs , they did look similar but when you put them side by side very different.

Fair Enough Piros, I haven't seen them in the flesh. I have loved the design of Fliteboard and all the other e-foils have all been quite different.
This just feels very close to the design of fliteboard to me.

In all honesty the Fliteboard & Lift are superior products . This is an efoil that's been stripped right down to the basics to get it to a way more affordable price point but still a really solid reliable unit .

Looks nice. So far they seem to have sold about 250 of these. It says they will start shipping is August, how long do they think it will it take to fill all those orders?

As far as I know production is pretty well done , so don't see why all won't be shipped in August.

That would be the one I'd grab. If I had the money & approval from my finance minister.
Good to see it at a much better price when you compare it to a small boat etc.
