Not sure what you mean about FFS. But I use white Lithium grease spray. Clean, Cheap & no problems.

I just accept assembling & dissembling & rinsing with a container of freshwater on each session. I do leave the mast & plate together for anything up to 2 months but I ensure I loosen the bolts before packing it away in a long bag. Re grease all bolts about every 1 to 2 months. The white lithium grease doesn't go black like other oil sprays. Hasn't failed yet.

I use this. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FW7VGE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Permatex 80078 Anti-Seize Lubricant with Brush Top Bottle, 8 oz

I take the mast and wing off every time, so I don't lube those 7 bolts. . I disassemble the whole thing about every month or so.

Just wondering if the Permatex goes black due to the graphite ingredient.
Other than that sounds great for all saltwater fixtures.

I just broke down my stuff. Haven't taken it apart in two months at least. The permatex goes on light gray. When I take it apart it's dark grey.

One bolt is stuck. Hopefully I can get it off after some wd40 soaks in.

Just wash your foil well weekly. No additives, just good maintenance.

I love not worrying about bolts coming loose, and always being able to undo them. I wash my foils minimum once a week or every 3rd day from riding. And followed this process for over 3 years now with more than 12 foils. I have had more fails with greases and anti-sieze then without.

Some say it's a pain in the arse, but I love it when I go to a location and have no issues with my gear.

Ride safe,

JB
