You can buy Torx screws from ebay. Restrict the search to Australia and you get a QLD based shop. They give excellent service. You can return stuff and get refunds or exchanges.
The Torx screws are mostly 304 stainless, which is fine for most uses. You have to go OS or to hex heads if you want 316 stainless.
I use a Bondhus ball head t-bar to fit and remove hex screws. I nip them tight with with a ratchet driver with a Wera fluted stainless steel bit. The t-handle is fast and the torque driver doesn't slip. There's hardly any wear.
The phillips screws on my footstraps are crap. They can only take 3-4 screwings before the head is munched. I've ordered some Torx self tappers and a Wera bit to see if they last longer.
Wera stainless steel buts and drivers can be had from
au.rs-online.com/web/ . Cheap prices, free postage. They look to be based in NSW.
