For me it was harder, but I also think because the front wing was further back then the 120 due to its positioning on the fuse (closer to the mast). If the wing/mast were further forward (on moses), my guess is it would be similar. 120 is smaller but its got good low end, I also use it with the 33 carve which makes popping up easier. I put both masts in the same position.

You could use the second row of screw holes on sabfoil mast. It allows you to set the mast a few millimeters forward. In fact I am thinking about making new holes on lift mast so I can move forward the same way.

How do you even paddle up the w1000 you must be very light.

The new Leviathan is more targeted towards DW.

I have tried that in the surf, was a little better but still did not feel as good as my lift 120 setup. Had to step back much further and didn't pump as good.

Interesting I felt just the opposite. Could paddle up the w1000 way faster than the lift 120. Once up they both felt nice but I am used to ride sab on hand wing so pump and glide felt allright on the sup also.
The lift I had to adjust my paddling stance stepping way back and narrow stance so it wouldn't stall right away. I will make additional holes on plate similar to the sab mast.


Before I learned supfoil I borrowed the sab 1110 and rode once with a hand wing and after learned paddling up I was also curious about how would it feel downwinding.

It wasn't great on the wing because the lack of turns but it has the same glide and speed feeling of the w1000.

Still interested for lightwind sup. I weight 63kg and ride a 83L sup.

thats interesting you felt the w1000 was easier then the 120 for paddling up. Did you have your mast in the same position as lift?
I found that I had to move my back leg a lot further back for the w1000 compared to lift, but it sounds like for you it was the opposite.

which fuse and tail wing are you running with the w1000?

I have used the W1100, W1000, W1110 and 1150-L for wing foiling in that order. I mostly only ride downwind surfing wind chop in winds from 15-30 knots. I weigh 100kg and started on a Fanatic Sky SUP 6'3", then SABFoil T98 Albatross, and now an SIC Raptor 5' 80lt.

The W1000 is fast as heck and was pretty fun to carve at speed. It does do part of the job for downwinding really well, but not an easy start and not great glide in lighter conditions if you're a heavier rider.

The W1110 was a real improvement for me and I put it to good use downwinding. It certainly had much improved glide and start whilst still maintaining a pretty easy to use fast foil. Depending upon your weight and conditions, the 1110 can be an excellent choice and clearly is the standout when looking at wings that fit on the kite fuselage.

If you're open to changing fuse to the 700 HS, you can bolt on the new 1150-L which is just incredible. I have just recently done a review on this wing.

I Just ordered the w1110. Was looking at the 1150-L, but at 65kg I think its a bit much for me. Was also looking at the 950-L which would ultimately be a better size for me, but what I dont understand is why that aspect ratio is so much lower then the other Leviathan wings. Afraid it will be very slow. Do you have any ride time / experience with it?

Just did my first SUP downwinder on the Moses w1110. Can confirm its an epic wing. kite 647 fuse and 399 tail wing.
