I have Moses 873 and 1100 for wing foiling, I am 76kg.
I use a 61cm Slingshot aluminium mast with a Jimmy Stringfellow adapter to my Moses fusealarge which makes a total length with plate of about 65cm and all good.
1100 wing seems better for pumping.
I also use a 91cm aluminium slingshot mast with adapter for kite foiling again all good for my purpose.
I do have the 71cm Moses mast and really I can not notice any significant difference for intermediate level foiling.

Yep you will hurt yourself Duff15 - My first time foiling I wore all the gear, GATH Helmet, Swimming Goggles & even a Jet-Ski Vest. Who cares IF You Look Like A KOOK = All my friends on Maui did with their first foiling session. I still wore the GATH helmet for the first 20 goes on the foil

I did end up with 10 stitches on the bottom of my foot I coped a flogging on a 3 footer & the tail wing on a Kai Go-Foil just touched me & opened me up. (it was more painful getting the stitches out after 10 days f@#k it hurt)

My GATH helmet is over 30 years old already I take it to Indonesia & put it on when the surf's like 10ft to protect my ears. I busted my eardrum surfing once as a teenager it's the most painful experience ever, I nearly drowned as you loose all coordination.

How do you find paddling the 873? Just seems to be so affected by whats going on under the water. Guess i will just have to become a more competent paddler

He been learning for a little wile on smaller wing and a 5,10" board and was doing ok at it. but last week I got a Konrad 4,8" and the flyr 1600 wing. Oh my god, what a difference. I can now pump right out the back carve on the wave face, and paddling is actually easier.
I thought I would struggle on a tiny board but it's amazing. One of the best decisions iv made was to lash out and buy a Konrad setup.
you should give one a try if a shop near you stocks then

How does the 873 and 1100 compare? For prone and windwing

Can someone explain the pros and cons of low and high aspect wings. Cheers

Weigh 105kg already have a moses surf mast and 790wing

volume is the key for a board, not sure how tall you are but somewhere around 5'0 -5'0 to start with and 40 litres +, you want to have some stability and every chance you have to catch the wave and glide in before it starts to lift. Around Anglesea, is very good, Pt Danger, not sure about the other side.

Low aspect wings lift at slower speeds and tend to turn more easily in the surf ie they have a smaller turning radius. They are definitely a better choice for learning due to the low speed lift. They also tend to be slower overall due to the increased drag they generate from the wing size and angle. High aspect wings are a little more difficult to ride, they need faster speeds to lift and can stall when trying to pump if you slow down, they generally pump more easily have better glide, thinner so have less drag and generally have a larger turning radius - think of it like a glider - big long flat wings and large arcs for turning. I would recommend people start with a low aspect wing and when they have reached a certain level of competency with turning and pumping then go for a higher aspect wing.
there are some interesting developments with wing shapes, Cloud 9 are bringing out a new wing design, the F32 which seems to be a perfect combination of high and low aspect. The wing is flat and has the high aspect advantages of glide and speed but there is a small downturn at the ends incorporating a low aspect turning ability. MFC wings are also flatter and have a higher aspect feel to them.
