From my socials Will Sproule won the assist comp riding a code 615s but most interestingly using the Duotone Assist!

I still think assist comps are a forced fit especially when they didn't have a SUP or Wing comp.

Will's a good local kid though (works at WSS) so I'm stoked for him!

Yeah both Will & Luc both ripped on the Duotone rigs both made the finals but not enough batteries so only Will competed. The assist comp went over really well and ran the entire day on Thursday . It will be much bigger next year as they will be including team events for the Foil assist. the riding was just next level with some huge moves , the swell was heaps bigger previous to the Prone comp. There was supposed to be a DW race but the wind didn't blow.
