Shoulder has come good and now dropped down in board size from my Sunova 4-8 to a Starboard Blue Carbon 4-3 x 18.5 x 34L & amazingly only 2.8 kg with full foot strap mounts . I've posted my very first wave stats 1.1km felt really good underfoot but you'll notice in the pics I replaced the rear kick pad it was too far forward.

Initially I thought the boxes were too far back but the 5" drop in board length meant the mast needed to go almost same distance back so all good. I'm floating around 88 to 90 kg ATM and this board floated me and paddled in really well .I especially really liked the widest point of the board further forward under my chest . Construction & finish is just amazing but the weight of board just feels so good . You really do notice the 1kg saving .

The board is 3" thick which makes it a bit of a chunky monkey but how else would get 34 litres in to 4'-3" it does have a slightly sunken deck which compensates a bit for that. Still feels really nice to paddle. I'm pretty impressed. Feels really good under your arm and has amazing shop appeal. Boxes seem really tough and deep so you'll need slightly longer bolts. Doesn't come with deck grip so I went with Creatures.
