Hi All,
I am looking for a recommendation for a foil to suit this board for a complete beginner.

Thanks in advance!

I would have thought the old Naish 1250 would be a good starting point. I've used this board for well over a year and still enjoy it. Pop up seemed to be very violent at first, possibly because of the large surface area behind the foil. The board seemed to need to be pumped up on foil. I now have a much smaller, more low drag rear wing and the boards comes up smoother. Mast is all the way forward now too. Problem is you need that larger stabiliser while you learn how to handle pitch stability. Just got to do your time. Use what's available and get out there.

That board is great for wing foiling too.

Say more? I have one but I've never tried winging it. Seems super narrow. Light wind? Is it a sinker? What's the story?

For me 87kg, the board at 65L i guess would be a sinker. Construction seems good. Super stable on knee starts because of the length even in big chop. Length makes it plane and take off easy. Have ridden it down to 10mph with 1750 Armie MA foils and 6m wing. Haven't had a chance to try it with my 1180 for lower wind. Been winging it for a year and a half now. I call the original ML wingboard. I wish they made more longer low volume boards like this. Here is the original thread I started on it.
