Get ready to monowing!
Triton's innovative, full carbon, patent-pending monowing is the future of foiling, full stop. The T1's revolutionary design delivers an amazing cruising, freestyle, and wave riding experience for average to advanced riders.

So how does it ride?
It's way more turny and agile than a traditional foil. It wants to do 360s and tacks naturally. It has front foot pressure just like a traditional foil. It's also a "breeze" to ride in low and high wind, flat water, and waves.

Seen a few now , I wonder how long for them to break into the surf/wing scene. They should be heaps cheaper no fuse or tail wings

A local inventor here has been promoting them for years.
But they seem to only be worth it for kiting where you can rely on the sail for stability. For prone or SUP foiling, they do not seem worth the loss of stability and having to focus more on their control.

So I guess they may end up getting used for Winging, not for foiling using only the wave power (SUP or prone).

I'm the guy in Australia who imports and sells the Triton monowing. Just had the first shipment in and have been out kite foiling on it to see what it's actually like, see the thread www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Kitesurfing/Foiling/Triton-T1-monowing--does-it-work-?

In short it's quite easy to ride and only takes a few minutes to learn if you're an average kite foiler. Definitely worth trying on a wing board. Trying to get some wingers to have a try so hopefully it's only a matter of time to see how it goes. Of course you can always buy one from me and see or yourself

I saw a guy on one today for his first session, and he was instantly flying and looked fast.

Gotta try new stuff.

I can't imagine it would work winging and in surf but would be fun to try.

Think of it as something in between foiling and a normal board. it turns great and has an amazing speed range but has zero glide. As soon as you let off the power you're in the water and it needs a steep face to stay up on a wave. Its sensitive to mast size and shape, I found it worked best with a 65cm short chord mast.

There is potential but the concept has a long way to go before its viable for wing and surf foil.

Not quite mono, but, how good is Bruce's construction techniques. Looks scalable for winging.
