This is my latest skateboard, it's a dedicated LDP board, a Roe Racing Triton.
Purchased from Stoked Skateboards by the way, and they are awesome, amazing service & enthusiasm.

imgur.com/a/r1shV I'm just learning but the other night I did 3.8km in 20mins at average 11km/h. 3 laps of a street circuit around my local area with a few ups and downs, net elevation change zero. I pushed about 20 pushes in that distance, ie maybe 6-8 pushes up the steepest part of each lap. The rest was just pumping.
For anyone who hasn't tried, pumping feels amazing, like surfing the streets. It's a great feeling when it all clicks and you're just carving hard, leaning into it, and it's propelling you forward. Like surfing and endless wave, or wakeboarding in silence..
This is the vid of a QLD LDP guy that made me commit to buying my board. Similar area to mine and same brand of board:
This guy, Eric Lowell, pumps with a ton of style. Big guy but he looks so light on his feet.
From what I've read this is a newish and growing sport, in the US they're doing 10-50 mile races, and even 24hr endurance races.
Personally I'm not going to push myself that far, but I am using it for fitness as well as fun. I'm using Endomodo on my phone to track route, average & top speed, etc. I'm trying to do at least 3x20 mins of hard exercise.
Any other Seabreezers keen?
