It's also the first foil surfing video I have seen where you see the paddle in, and the wave is not actually breaking.

Most foil surfing videos show waves that you could reasonably surf without a foil. Videos that show foiling on unbroken swells usually have a tow in to start.

That's a great video, it shows just how smooth the feeling is. I've never liked the crazy pumping, too much effort for something so beautiful as foiling.
I started with prone foiling then shortboard and now SUP foiling. Here's one of my foils dropping into a tube.
We might need to start a seperate FOIL SUP category for foiling threads ?

First vid I reckon I have seen where "the foiler" does anything bit draw extended lines smooothly.
Keahi is getting pretty close to ripping on that thing...glimpse of future potential methinks!

That's actually the first time I've watched a foil vid and thought " I'd like to do that". Nice.

+1 He's very much in control , I'm not a fan of the hop hop hop hop hop ......

Plus it shows it can open up new playgrounds, away from surfers...
