Note that all free video hosting services are using your personal data for profit. But yes, some are definitively much more evil than others, Facebook has even arguably destroyed democracies and is poised to do a lot more damage in the future.

Also, Facebook video technology is absolute crap, both in the bad quality and the abysmal controls (And Instagram is even worse).
