Can you explain what the twisted V concept is? I get that it is a deep V tail, but not sure about the twisted part

I have a ton of respect for Jimmy Lewis. But I would NEVER purchase a foil board shaped by someone who admits they have never foiled, have no interest in foiling, and not only that admits that they haven't even gone down to the beach to watch other people foil. That whole thing is a total mystery. But I have to admit every one of his boards I've seen is immaculately constructed even if I don't agree with the shapes.

Johndrums, Jimmy is a master shaper who understands all the intricacies of hydrodynamics & board design with over 50 years of making boards that work without gimmicks.... back in the day his boards held 6 or 8 of the worlds windsurf speed records.... I ride his boards & they work unreal...in some way foil boards are easier to make than performance surfboards & sup's... you just have to ge them out of the water...there are plenty of shapers out there who do foil that make very ordinary boards...you don't know until you try...I've been riding his foil boards (and have tried plenty of others) since foiling began here in Aus...he's been making foilboards since the beginning before it was the cool thing to do & his son Marlon was one of the original OG foilers with Kai...
